Controversies in
Lactation
August 15-19, 2007
Town & Country Resort
and Convention Center
San Diego, California, USA
Thank you for considering speaking at ILCA's 2007
conference! Every year, ILCA members and others in the
lactation community have the opportunity to share their
insights and research with colleagues through concurrent
sessions. The annual conference enables ILCA's Conference
Committee to recognize those whose expertise and presentation
skills qualify them for this honor. ILCA appreciates these
contributions toward ensuring a successful program.
Please review the policies, procedures and deadlines below
and contact the ILCA Office if you have any questions. A link
to the
submission site is also provided at the end of the page
for your convenience.

attendees, please ensure that the presentation content is
reflected accurately in the title.
- Proposal submitters need not be ILCA

- All information presented during Conference Sessions
will be presented in English. Proposals must be submitted in
English.
- Abstracts that are not submitted by the published
deadline will not be reviewed or considered. Submissions
with incomplete status cannot be reviewed or considered.

future acceptance of proposals.
- Clarity of expression will be considered in the review
process. The overall quality of language used should assure
comprehension by the reader.
- Submitters may return to the on-line system to edit
proposals at any time before the published deadline. After
that time, the system will be closed and proposals will be
forwarded for the reviewing process. An author may not
revise or resubmit a proposal to make changes or corrections
after these deadlines. Proof-read abstracts carefully to
avoid errors before they are submitted. ILCA is not
authorized to make changes or corrections to a submission.
- Presenters are expected to disclose to the audience any
real or apparent conflict(s) of interest that may have a
direct bearing on the subject matter of the continuing
education activity. This includes disclosures of any
financial interest/arrangement or affiliation with any
organizations that could be perceived as a conflict of
interest in the context of their presentation subject
matter. To be in compliance with this policy, oral
presenters should disclose at the beginning of the
presentation. Poster presenters should disclose on their
poster presentation materials.
- Speakers are not permitted to distribute commercial
