2008 ILCA Conference Speakers
The deadline for Poster Abstract
Submissions for the ILCA Conference in July was March 1, 2008. Selected posters will be notified in April.
Speaker notifed as being accepted need to re-visit the site below to upload their speaker materials by April 15. If you have questions, please contact natalieporterfield@ilca.org.
1. Poster Presentations will be accepted
in the areas of Research and Projects. All poster
abstract submitters may choose whether they prefer to
present as only a poster presentation OR as both a
poster and an oral presentation when they submit their
abstract.
2. Authors of research abstracts must indicate when and
where the research has been presented if it is not the
first presentation of the research. If the research has
previously been presented at an ILCA annual conference,
the submitted abstract should be for a different aspect
or findings of the research than that presented before.
3. Research Poster abstracts selected for oral
presentation will be published exactly as submitted in
the program syllabus.
4. After the Conference, all accepted Research Poster
abstracts will be published in the Journal of Human
Lactation. Project Poster abstracts will be published in
the e-Globe. A list of all abstracts will be published
on the ILCA website.
5. Poster Presenters will be required to staff their
poster during three designated times during the
conference as indicated in the letter of acceptance.
Poster Presenters must register for the Conference and
are responsible for all related expenses. Research
Poster Presenters accepted for oral presentation will
receive complimentary registration for the day they
speak, and US$100 to help defray personal expenses.
