It has happened! Lactation Consultants of Australia & New Zealand (LCANZ) has evolved after many years of deliberation and planning.

This new and exciting organisation provides a unified forum for anyone with a professional interest in breastfeeding. We welcome all IBCLC’s, Midwives, Maternal Child Health Nurses, GP’s, indeed anyone passionate about human lactation to join. Whilst membership is broad, to have voting rights you must be an IBCLC. LCANZ is an affiliate with International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA) providing member access to the ILCA website and subscription to Journal of Human Lactation.

 

The membership fees have been developed to incorporate reasonable costs to most however, the Board of Directors apologises to those members who may be financially disadvantaged with the change over to the new organisation.

Fees will run per calendar year and include access to ILCA member website and print copy of Journal of Human Lactation.

Today, we encourage you to join ‘LCANZ’ to have Lactation Consultants of Australia & New Zealand finally United as one.
