Joining your local affiliate allows you to network with lactation consultants and others working to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in your own area. Many affiliates offer conferences and other educational meetings so that members may hone their clinical skills, keep current, and earn continuing education credits (CERPs). Affiliates often also offer the opportunity to join ILCA at the discounted Group Membership rate. Be sure to check with the affiliate representative for additional details.
