World Breastfeeding Week 2010
Breastfeeding: Just 10 Steps
The Baby-Friendly Way
ILCA is now accepting orders for the 2010 World Breastfeeding Week Kit and our exciting NEW promotional items! We are putting the final touches on the kit and it should be available to ship in early June.
This year’s kit focuses on the steps to breastfeeding success outlined in the Baby-Friendly™ Hospital Initiative, including the rationale for and strategies for implementing The Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding. ILCA reminds everyone that there are also important steps that can be taken by other groups, including public health agencies, private clinics, employers, families, and the community at large to help mothers reach their breastfeeding goals.
The theme is perfect for hospitals, WIC agencies, public health programs, private clinics, and community celebrations, and ILCA has assembled a comprehensive spread of materials and promotional items to help you plan an exciting and effective program that can make a difference in the care new families receive.
