Consultants around the world in celebrating IBCLC Day. This
special day, held the first Wednesday in March each year,
honors the work of IBCLCs as vital links in the circle of care
for breastfeeding families.
For IBCLC Day, ILCA invites coalitions, providers, and public
health groups everywhere to plan a celebration event! Your
celebration can be as small as sending a note to your IBCLC
colleagues to let them know how much you appreciate their
support for breastfeeding moms and babies. You can plan a
reception to honor IBCLCs, or work with other IBCLCs in the
community to provide a Free Breastfeeding Clinic.
