No IBCLC Day celebration would be complete without a cake!
At the March meeting of the Mississippi Breastfeeding
Coalition, the IBCLCs in attendance received a certificate in
recognition of their dedication to protecting and supporting
breastfeeding in their communities. The coalition set aside
their March meeting to celebrate IBCLC Day with a special
luncheon as well as a presentation on what IBCLCs do and how
to become an IBCLC. Pictured from left are Kendall Cox, Nell
Blakely, Susan Crump, Nicki Miller, Caryn Womack, Polly
Patrick, Cathy Carothers, Becky Saenz, and Linda Pittman. A
special award was given to the Mississippi WIC Program for
their support of IBCLCs.
