Angela has also worked as a Birth Doula since 1999, and has been privileged to attend almost 100 births ranging from beautiful home births to amazing C-sections. Angela has built an amazing team at Nutmeg Consulting and now offers Postpartum Doula care for daytime or overnight support. The team has a passion for caring for new mothers, babies and their families during the often stressful and exhausting first few month of having a baby, and having professional help during this transition can make a world of difference.

Angela is a published author of a textbook chapter on Breastfeeding Challenges in the NICU, she is a member of a BFI (Baby-Friendly Initiative) committee, is a Breastfeeding Educator for Health Care Professionals, and has presented at the Mount Sinai Hospital/University of Toronto Maternity Care Conference, and is running a workshop at the ILCA conference in Toronto.
